La Beaute de Hanoi Hotel is located in an alley in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter and only a short walk from Hoan Kiem Lake (还剑湖). This boutique hotel opened in 2014 and only has 18 rooms.
The hotel décor and furnishing is modern yet maintaining an Oriental touch. The reception is bright and cheery that is enhanced by the warm and friendly greetings one gets from the front office staff.
The Deluxe room is tastefully decorated in red and white with wood effect floor tiles and a large European style window. Wooden venetian blinds block out the light. Unfortunately, our room window opens to a wall of the building behind the hotel. The good thing about this is the room is quiet :).
A large built in wardrobe, 2 bed side cabinets and a table is made available to guests in the spacious room.
This hotel is definitely gadget friendly as the room has many power sockets for chargers. There is a safe in the room for guests to store their valuables while out for sightseeing. It is equipped with many modern amenities such as flat screen TV with a good selection of cable channels, IDD phone, air-conditioner and minibar.
The wooden furniture, the warm LED lighting in the room and photos of old Hanoi on the wall gives it a very cozy and comfortable feeling.
The sparkling clean bath room comes with a full size bath tub for guests to soak away the grime and tiredness after a full day of sightseeing.
Complimentary fruits are available for guests and it is replenished daily. We had grapes, bananas and rambutans during our 3-night stay in the hotel.
WiFi is available in the room as well as in the lobby and the signal is good. This is because the hotel places a router on every floor. The internet connection and speed is good too.
Our room booking didn’t include breakfast as we wanted to try the local food. Those who prefer La Beaute De Hanoi’s breakfast can partake at USD5 per pax. Breakfast is served in the dining room on the ground floor that is shared with its sister hotel, Calypso Suites.
Overall I enjoyed my stay in La Beaute de Hanoi Hotel, especially the service provided by the hotel staff throughout our stay. The staff are helpful, friendly and very alert and responsive to guests’ needs.
