Hotel Granvia Hiroshima is conveniently located just outside Hiroshima Station which is the main transport hub to get around Hiroshima. We chose this hotel for its location. We reached Hiroshima Station from Osaka around 11am. It was a short walk from the station to the hotel.
We were not able to check in yet as check in time for most hotels in Japan is 3pm. So we left our luggage at the hotel before going off to Miyajima. After our sightseeing, we came back to the hotel to check in. Check in was a breeze and our luggage was already sent to our room. Staff at the front counter speak adequate English.

Overview of the room
We had a double bed room with city view on the 20th floor (high floor) as per request.
Room size was minimally adequate and comes with the amenities of a typical Japanese hotel. Room has a small chair and coffee table. Room was clean and bed was comfy. TV in the room only has Japanese channels. Would be excellent if the TV has a few English channels.

We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel as there are plenty of choices in the station itself. There are also convenience stores and shops inside the station.
